Los Angeles — Houston Rockets forward Kevin Durant became the center of an off-court stir Monday night, firing back at a courtside Lakers supporter during Game 1 of the NBA playoffs.

A short clip circulating on social media shows Durant stopping near the sideline and shouting, “Keep that d— out of your mouth,” after the fan apparently mentioned the star’s name. The verbal exchange took place at Crypto.com Arena, where Los Angeles hosted the opening game of the first-round series.

Play resumed without any official intervention, and neither Durant nor the fan was removed. The Rockets went on to drop the contest, falling behind 0-1 in the best-of-seven matchup.

The incident quickly went viral, drawing widespread reaction and reigniting discussion about player–fan confrontations during high-stakes postseason games.

No disciplinary action had been announced by the league or the teams as of late Monday.
