LeBron James, Brandon Ingram Earn Player of the Week Honors

The NBA announced Monday that Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James and Toronto Raptors forward Brandon Ingram have been selected as Players of the Week for the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively, covering games played from April 6–12.

James averaged 24.0 points, 9.7 assists and 6.0 rebounds as the injury-plagued Lakers won three of four games during the period.

Ingram posted 25.5 points per game on 57.8 percent shooting and added 6.5 rebounds, helping the Raptors to a 3-1 record last week.

Additional Western Conference nominees were Deni Avdija (Trail Blazers), Kevin Durant and Amen Thompson (Rockets), and Terrence Shannon Jr. (Timberwolves). Eastern Conference nominees included Paolo Banchero (Magic), Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns (Knicks), and Jalen Duren (Pistons).
