DETROIT — April 8, 2026 — Cade Cunningham logged 13 points and 10 assists in 26 minutes Wednesday night, helping the Detroit Pistons defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 137–111 in their regular-season home finale.
Appearing for the first time since suffering a collapsed lung on March 17, the third-year guard shot 6-for-11, added five rebounds and played in short spurts as Detroit (58-22) won for the sixth time in eight outings.
Center Jalen Duren paced the Pistons with 21 points and nine rebounds, while Duncan Robinson provided 20 points. Head coach J.B. Bickerstaff limited all five starters to fewer than 30 minutes.
The Bucks (—) received a triple-double from Jericho Sims — 11 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists — and 23 points from Ryan Rollins, but dropped their 10th contest in the past 13.
Fast start puts game out of reach
Cunningham registered six points and five assists in 13 first-half minutes as Detroit built a 75-57 advantage. Duren tallied 11 points and six boards in the same span, finishing the half with a plus-20 rating.
Detroit pushed the margin to 112-86 after a 37-29 third quarter, prompting both coaches to turn to their benches early in the fourth.
Injury notes and milestones
Forward Isaiah Stewart returned from a calf strain sustained March 13, finishing with eight points. With two road games remaining — at Charlotte and Indiana — the Pistons can reach 60 victories for the first time since the 2005-06 season.
