The Cleveland Cavaliers will travel west without forwards Jaylon Tyson and Dean Wade, who were ruled out of the club’s upcoming three-game road swing because of injuries, the team announced on Sunday.

Tyson, a 2024 first-round pick enjoying a strong second season, is dealing with a sprained left great toe suffered in a March 19 win at Chicago. The 21-year-old has already sat out four contests and will remain sidelined for at least three more.

Wade sustained a right ankle sprain last Tuesday against Orlando. The 27-year-old, who is extension-eligible before hitting unrestricted free agency this summer, has missed the past two games and will reach five consecutive absences by the end of the trip.

Both players will stay in Cleveland for treatment and rehabilitation while the Cavaliers face the Jazz on Monday, the Lakers on Tuesday, and the Warriors on Thursday. The team returns home to meet the Pacers next Sunday before opening a back-to-back at Memphis on Monday, April 6.
