The Toronto Raptors have reached an agreement to sign free-agent guard Markelle Fultz to a 10-day contract, according to Hoops Wire.
Fultz, the first player chosen in his draft class, will join the Raptors on the short-term deal that allows the club to evaluate him over a span of up to five games. The arrangement can be renewed for a second 10-day period or converted into a contract for the remainder of the season.
Final paperwork is expected to be completed soon, after which Fultz will be eligible to suit up for Toronto.
