Risers and Fallers: Fantasy managers weigh Filipowski surge, da Silva breakout, Mathurin slump

Mar. 13, 2026 — With four weeks left in the NBA regular season, several players are reshaping fantasy basketball lineups.
Risers
Tristan da Silva, SF, Orlando Magic — 19.7 % rostered
In back-to-back games this week, the rookie replaced injured starters Franz Wagner and Anthony Black and posted his first two career scoring highs. He delivered 26 points, seven rebounds, four steals, two blocks and three three-pointers in Thursday’s overtime win over Washington after scoring 23 against Cleveland on Wednesday. Da Silva has topped 10 points in five of seven March contests while averaging more than 30 minutes. Orlando plays four games in each of the season’s final four weeks, increasing his short-term value.
Matas Buzelis, SF/PF, Chicago Bulls — 72.2 % rostered
Drafted as a fifth-round flyer in many leagues, Buzelis has produced top-50 value by logging 29 minutes a night. Through March 12 he averaged 23.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 3.3 threes this month, highlighted by a career-best 41-point outing Tuesday at Golden State. Chicago has only three games next week, but the 21-year-old remains a multi-category mainstay even with the Bulls fading from playoff contention.
Kyle Filipowski, PF, Utah Jazz — 48.0 % rostered
Filipowski’s workload spiked after Jusuf Nurkic underwent season-ending nose surgery. The second-year forward moved from 22 to 28 minutes per game and lifted his March line to 15.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.2 steals, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 three. Utah plays three times in each of the next two weeks, but with few healthy bigs on the roster, Filipowski is expected to hold a featured role the rest of the way.
Fallers
Bennedict Mathurin, SG/SF, Los Angeles Clippers — 66.7 % rostered
Since arriving from Indiana, Mathurin has averaged 18.3 points in 28.2 minutes over the past two weeks, yet fantasy impact has been muted by just 0.7 threes, steals and blocks per game and 43.6 % shooting. Los Angeles has four games in each of the next two scoring periods, but managers in roto or category formats may seek a more well-rounded option.
Cooper Flagg, PG/SF/PF, Dallas Mavericks — 95.5 % rostered
Back from an eight-game foot absence, the Rookie of the Year contender has not surpassed 18 points in five contests and is hitting 34.6 % from the floor. Rebounds, assists, steals and blocks remain steady, yet Dallas, currently tanking, could monitor his workload. The Mavericks have only three games in each of the next two weeks, leaving managers to decide whether his shaky shooting outweighs his across-the-board contributions.
Cameron Johnson, SF/PF, Denver Nuggets — 20.1 % rostered
Johnson’s opportunity vanished once Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun returned from injury and Peyton Watson neared a comeback. Over his past six games he has averaged 9.2 points, 1.2 threes, 4.2 rebounds and 0.5 steals in 27 minutes. With healthier rotation pieces reclaiming minutes, Johnson is widely droppable.
Fantasy playoffs begin in many leagues next week, and managers may need to pivot quickly as rotations evolve and schedules tighten.
