The Indiana Pacers have signed forward Jalen Slawson to a two-way contract, the organization announced Saturday.

The agreement allows the 6-foot-7 wing to be active for up to 13 of Indiana’s remaining 22 regular-season games. Slawson takes the two-way spot formerly held by Quenton Jackson, whose deal was recently converted to a three-year standard contract.

Selected 54th overall in the 2023 NBA Draft out of Furman, Slawson spent his rookie year on a two-way deal with the Sacramento Kings and appeared in 12 games during the 2023-24 season. He has played in the G League since then, including this season with the Noblesville Boom, the Pacers’ affiliate.

Through 35 G League contests in 2024-25, Slawson is averaging 18.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists over 34.2 minutes while shooting 48.6 percent from the field and 34.8 percent from three-point range.

The South Carolina native previously signed Exhibit 10 contracts with both Indiana and Orlando but was waived in training camp each time. Because he has not appeared in an NBA game since 2023-24, the new deal will count as his second NBA season.
