HOUSTON — Kevin Durant declined to confirm or deny reports that he used a secret Twitter profile to criticize teammates when the Rockets reconvened for practice on Wednesday.

The forward was asked about accusations that an anonymous account, allegedly controlled by him, had posted negative comments about center Alperen Şengün and forward Jabari Smith Jr. over All-Star weekend.

“I know you got to ask these questions, but I’m not here to get into Twitter nonsense,” Durant told reporters, according to Yahoo Sports’ Kelly Iko. “My teammates know what it is. We’ve been locked in the whole season.”

Durant’s brief statement halted further discussion at the podium and offered no clarification on whether the account was his. By neither confirming nor denying the claim, the 14-time All-Star left room for continued speculation while signaling confidence in the Rockets’ locker room dynamic.

The incident echoes previous situations in Durant’s career, though the 35-year-old made it clear he does not intend to address the topic publicly. The Rockets resume their schedule later this week with a record of 25-28, pursuing a Western Conference play-in spot.
