The Philadelphia 76ers intend to sign guard Tyrese Martin to a two-way contract once the club completes a separate two-year agreement with forward Jabari Walker, according to PHLY Sports reporter Derek Bodner.

Martin opened the 2025-26 season with the Brooklyn Nets and remained on the roster past January’s guarantee deadline, securing his full $2.2 million salary. He was later waived to clear a spot for Brooklyn’s trade that sent Hunter Tyson from the Denver Nuggets.

Across the last two seasons with the Nets, the 25-year-old appeared in 97 games, starting 17. He averaged 8.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists while playing 20.7 minutes per contest.

Philadelphia’s move will fill its lone available two-way slot alongside MarJon Beauchamp and Dalen Terry once Walker is promoted to the 15-man roster. If Martin’s deal is finalized by Wednesday, league rules will allow him to be active for up to 16 regular-season games with the Sixers.
