INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Atlanta Hawks second-year forward Zaccharie Risacher will take part in Friday’s Rising Stars game after being named Tuesday as the injury replacement for Oklahoma City Thunder guard Ajay Mitchell on Team T-Mac.

Mitchell was ruled out of the NBA All-Star Weekend showcase because of an abdominal strain, opening a roster spot for Risacher.

The French native returns to the event for the second straight season; he was selected as a rookie for last year’s edition. Chosen No. 1 overall in the 2024 NBA draft, the 20-year-old is averaging 10.7 points and 3.5 rebounds for Atlanta this season.
