The 21-year-old landed awkwardly following a dunk late in the first half and was immediately ruled out for the remainder of the game with what the club termed “right leg soreness.” Head coach Rick Carlisle said Furphy will undergo imaging Monday in New York to determine the extent of the damage.
Selected 35th overall in the 2024 draft, Furphy has appeared in 34 games this season, averaging 5.2 points and 4.4 rebounds while shooting 46.6 percent from the field. He has started 20 contests, logging 18.5 minutes per night.
