The Memphis Grizzlies have reached an agreement to obtain veteran guard Eric Gordon and a 2032 second-round pick swap from the Philadelphia 76ers, according to multiple reports.

In exchange, Philadelphia will receive the NBA draft rights to guard Justinian Jessup, 27, a 2020 second-round selection who is currently playing for Bayern Munich in Germany.

Memphis already has a full 15-man roster and intends to waive forward Georges Niang to create the necessary spot, sources said. Niang, acquired from Utah earlier this week, is on an $8.2 million expiring contract.

For the 76ers, moving Gordon opens a roster slot that is expected to be used on two-way forward Dominick Barlow. Barlow has started 33 of 40 games this season and is averaging career highs of 8.4 points and 5.1 rebounds in 24 minutes. He has 10 games left before hitting his two-way limit and must be converted to a standard deal to remain eligible for the postseason.

Gordon, 37, appeared in six games for Philadelphia this year, serving primarily as a veteran presence. His $3.6 million expiring contract carries a $2.3 million cap hit, making it a manageable addition for the Grizzlies.
