San Antonio — The NBA has pushed Sunday’s Orlando Magic–San Antonio Spurs matchup back three hours, moving the start time from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET because of winter weather complications.

The Spurs were unable to return home after Saturday afternoon’s game in Charlotte, which had itself been moved up three hours to avoid a severe storm sweeping across North Carolina. Players and staff spent roughly two hours on a grounded private plane before the airport closed, forcing the team to remain in Charlotte overnight.

San Antonio hopes to fly back on Sunday morning, but additional schedule adjustments remain possible if conditions do not improve. Meanwhile, the Magic reached San Antonio late Saturday afternoon and would enter the contest with extra rest should it proceed as planned.

Last weekend, Winter Storm Fern postponed two NBA games and prompted earlier start times for two more. The postponed contests—Denver at Memphis and Dallas at Milwaukee—were shifted to March, triggering changes to the dates of two other matchups.
