Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is reportedly prepared to be traded, with multiple teams submitting “aggressive” offers ahead of the NBA’s mid-season deadline.
The New York Post reported on January 28, 2026, that the two-time MVP has signaled his readiness to move on from Milwaukee. Details of the proposals have not been disclosed, and the Bucks have not issued a public response.
Antetokounmpo, 31, is in the third year of a five-year, $228 million super-max contract he signed in December 2020. He is averaging 28.1 points, 11.5 rebounds and 6.2 assists this season.
The trade deadline is set for February 5, giving Milwaukee a narrow window to assess the incoming offers and decide whether to part ways with the franchise cornerstone who led the team to the 2021 NBA championship.
