PHOENIX — The Suns may soon regain summer acquisition Jalen Green. The guard was upgraded to questionable for Monday’s home game against the Nets after completing a third full five-on-five session, head coach Jordan Ott said Saturday. Green has not appeared this season, but teammates Devin Booker and Grayson Allen said his shot creation and ability to draw fouls would add needed rim pressure.

Heat keep Herro home

Tyler Herro did not accompany Miami on its five-game trip after sustaining a rib contusion that sidelined him for Saturday’s loss to Oklahoma City. The guard will undergo an MRI, and the club has not provided a timetable. Herro has already missed 31 of Miami’s first 42 contests.

Lakers list James, Doncic as questionable

LeBron James (left foot arthritis and sciatica) and Luka Doncic (left groin soreness) are both questionable for the Lakers entering tonight’s matchup with the Raptors. Los Angeles remains without Austin Reaves, who has been out since Christmas with a calf strain.

Knicks injuries mount ahead of Mavericks clash

New York, losers of eight of its past 10, could be without two leaders Monday in Dallas. Jalen Brunson (right ankle sprain) and Josh Hart (right ankle soreness) are both listed as questionable. The injury-hit Mavericks are still missing P.J. Washington (personal), Daniel Gafford (right ankle sprain) and D’Angelo Russell (illness), but rookie Cooper Flagg was upgraded to questionable after a left ankle sprain.
