A speculative trade concept circulating online would send Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant to the Milwaukee Bucks, according to a proposal outlined by Bleacher Report’s Andy Bailey.
Proposed terms:
Bucks receive: Ja Morant
Grizzlies receive: Kyle Kuzma, Kevin Porter Jr., Gary Harris and a 2032 first-round pick swap
The idea is strictly hypothetical and not linked to ongoing negotiations. Bailey’s exercise suggests Milwaukee, currently stuck in the middle of the Eastern Conference standings, could make another bold move in the Giannis Antetokounmpo era to boost its championship push. Pairing Morant with Antetokounmpo would increase rim pressure, even though outside shooting would remain a concern.
On Memphis’ side, league chatter continues to include Morant’s name. The Grizzlies are reportedly keeping an open mind, seeking draft flexibility and additional young pieces as they plot the next steps alongside forward Jaren Jackson Jr.
Morant, 26, remains one of the NBA’s most explosive guards and is viewed as a player capable of shifting a franchise’s trajectory. Whether that impact stays in Memphis or moves elsewhere is still uncertain.
While purely theoretical, proposals like this often mirror the internal conversations NBA front offices entertain during the season.
