Anthony Davis may not have to undergo surgery for the injury he suffered against the Dallas Mavericks, the New York Post reported on Jan. 13, 2026.
The outlet said additional medical evaluations have indicated that the procedure doctors initially feared might be necessary is now considered unlikely. No timetable for Davis’s return was disclosed.
The Los Angeles Lakers have not yet released an official update on the forward’s status.
