The Los Angeles Clippers erased a double-digit deficit, the Indiana Pacers controlled wire to wire, and the Charlotte Hornets delivered a historic blowout as the NBA featured three decisive results on Saturday night.
Clippers 98, Pistons 92
Down 14 with less than 10 minutes left in Detroit, Los Angeles closed the game on a 28-8 surge to secure its ninth win in 11 outings. Kawhi Leonard scored 26 points and John Collins added 25, while James Harden finished with 19 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.
The Pistons played without Cade Cunningham (wrist), Isaiah Stewart (illness), Tobias Harris (hip), and Jalen Duren (ankle), committing 12 turnovers in the fourth quarter alone as the Clippers completed the comeback.
Pacers 123, Heat 99
Andrew Nembhard produced 29 points and nine assists in Indianapolis, guiding Indiana to a second straight victory that matches its longest winning streak of the season. The Pacers never trailed, building a double-figure margin early and connecting on 17 three-pointers—one shy of their season high.
Micah Potter came off the bench to hit four threes and score 14 points, and Jarace Walker added 13. Miami could not keep pace as Indiana maintained control from start to finish.
Hornets 150, Jazz 95
Charlotte opened a 47-point lead before halftime in Salt Lake City and ultimately posted the second-largest win in franchise history, as well as its biggest margin ever on the road. The Hornets went 16-for-36 from beyond the arc in the first half while Utah managed just one make in 12 tries.
Tre Mann tallied 20 points in only 12 minutes off the bench. Rookie Brandon Miller added 18, and LaMelo Ball contributed 17 as Charlotte’s lead ballooned to 57 in the second half.
