The Denver Nuggets anticipate welcoming two starters back when they meet the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday afternoon in Barclays Center.

Forward Aaron Gordon and wing Christian Braun have been upgraded to play after being listed as questionable on the league’s official injury report earlier in the day, DNVR Nuggets reported. Gordon, sidelined since November 21 with a Grade 2 strain in his right hamstring, opened the 2025-26 season averaging 20.3 points and 6.3 rebounds across 12 games while shooting 53.6 percent from the field, 45.2 percent from three and 87.9 percent at the foul line.

Braun has not appeared since November 12 because of a sprained left ankle. The fourth-year guard/forward recorded 11.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 0.9 steals in 30.8 minutes over his first 10 outings, emerging as one of Denver’s primary perimeter defenders.

Head coach Michael Malone’s club continues a three-game road swing that ends Wednesday in Boston.

Michael Porter Jr., now Brooklyn’s leading scorer, will also be available Sunday after missing two games with an illness, according to The New York Post. The 27-year-old forward, dealt from Denver to the Nets during the offseason, acknowledged he is “using everything” as motivation in his first meeting with his former team.
