The Golden State Warriors will play Friday night without Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder at Chase Center.

Green is receiving a scheduled night of rest, while Curry turned his left ankle late in Wednesday’s win at Charlotte. Butler, who was not on the initial injury report, was ruled out Friday morning because of an illness, according to the club.

The meeting with Oklahoma City marks the front end of a home back-to-back. Golden State faces the Utah Jazz on Saturday and hopes to have all three veterans available for that contest.

Friday’s game streams on Prime Video, placing it under the NBA’s new player-participation policy for nationally televised contests. Because Curry and Butler have appeared in each of the last three All-Star Games, any absence deemed unjustified could lead to a $100,000 league fine.

Curry described Wednesday’s ankle tweak as “a little blast from the past” but indicated he expects to be fine. The Warriors have won five of six to reach 18-16, and 10 of their first 11 January games are scheduled at home.
