Luka Doncic of the Los Angeles Lakers and Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks are the early pace-setters in fan voting for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game, according to the league’s first ballot update released on December 29.

Doncic tops all players with 1,249,518 votes and heads the Western Conference list. The next four in the West are Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama.

Antetokounmpo leads Eastern Conference players and is joined by Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey, New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham, and Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell in the conference’s top five.

Fan ballots make up 50 percent of the formula used to name five starters from each conference. Current NBA players and a panel of media members account for 25 percent each. For the second straight season, positions are not considered when selecting starters.

A new USA-versus-World round-robin tournament is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 15 at the Intuit Dome, the soon-to-open home of the Los Angeles Clippers.
