The Orlando Magic have reached an agreement with free-agent guard Lester Quinones on a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contract, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. A league source confirmed the details to Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel.

Quinones, 24, has appeared in 54 NBA regular-season games since going undrafted out of Memphis in 2022. His most productive stretch came with the Golden State Warriors in 2023-24, when the 6’4″ guard averaged 4.4 points and 1.9 rebounds while shooting 36.4% from three-point range over 37 contests.

Last season, Quinones opened the year on a two-way deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, was waived in December, and then signed a two-way contract with the New Orleans Pelicans in early March. Although that pact covered two seasons, New Orleans released him last month.

The New York native logged only 13 NBA appearances in 2024-25 but played 41 G League games with the Birmingham Squadron and Delaware Blue Coats. He averaged 21.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.4 steals, though he shot 43.1% from the field and 33.1% from beyond the arc while committing 3.7 turnovers per outing.

Per Scotto, Quinones will head to training camp with a chance to earn a standard roster spot or the Magic’s final two-way slot alongside Orlando Robinson and Jamal Cain. A two-way agreement is considered more likely, as Orlando is near the first-apron hard cap and currently lacks room to carry a 15th player on a standard contract.

An Exhibit 10 deal can be converted to a two-way contract at any point before Oct. 20. If Orlando waives Quinones, he could join the Lakeland Magic and receive an Exhibit 10 bonus of up to $85,300, provided the team secures his G League returning rights.
