A one-of-a-kind 2003 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection dual Logoman card featuring Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan changed hands for $3,172,000 on Friday in a Heritage Auctions sale, the price including the buyer’s premium.

Graded a 6 by Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA) and numbered 1/1, the card is the seventh-highest basketball card sale ever recorded, according to Card Ladder. It also ranks as the second-costliest Bryant card and the third-costliest Jordan card. The piece is not autographed by either Hall of Famer.

The most valuable sports card on record remains another Bryant-Jordan dual Logoman: a signed 2007-08 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection example that brought $12.932 million at Heritage in August.

That same August event produced two noteworthy 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle sales—a PSA 8 copy at $1,555,550 and a PSA 1.5 copy with a premium Mantle autograph at $884,500—along with a 1962 Topps Baseball master set that sold for $512,400 and a signed 1948 Swell Sports Thrills Jackie Robinson card that realized $207,400.

Heritage surpassed $2 billion in total sales for 2025 before Friday’s auction, topping the $1.867 billion it logged in 2024. Last year the house also brokered the record $24 million sale of Babe Ruth’s “called shot” jersey, the priciest piece of sports memorabilia to date.

Several six-figure lots are scheduled to close on Saturday, including a photo-matched 1986-87 Larry Bird Boston Celtics jersey currently at $237,900 (the Bird jersey record is $360,000); a Shohei Ohtani bat from his 2024 50/50 season at $213,500; and a Mickey Mantle jersey photo-matched to the 1960 and 1961 World Series at $378,200.
