The Minnesota Timberwolves are believed to be willing to move forward Julius Randle if a suitable offer materializes, according to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.
League sources told Siegel that Minnesota has been surveying the point-guard market. The front office has checked on Grizzlies star Ja Morant and is keeping long-term tabs on Cavaliers guard Darius Garland as it searches for a backcourt partner to complement Anthony Edwards.
The Timberwolves’ ability to swing a major deal is complicated by a shortage of tradable first-round picks, executives noted. Even so, Randle’s name continues to surface in trade conversations, and rival teams believe Minnesota is prepared to listen.
Randle is once again producing strong statistics this season, but it remains unclear whether the 29-year-old forward fits into the club’s long-term plans or serves as a key asset in a potential roster upgrade.
