SAN FRANCISCO — Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has been ruled out of Monday night’s home game against the Utah Jazz because of a sprained right foot, the team announced Sunday.

Green was injured late Friday when Portland Trail Blazers center Donovan Clingan landed on him during a scramble for a loose ball in the Warriors’ 127-123 loss at Chase Center.

Frontcourt depth continues to shrink

Golden State is already without two other rotation bigs. Forward Jonathan Kuminga will sit for a sixth consecutive game due to bilateral knee tendinitis. An MRI revealed no structural damage, but head coach Steve Kerr said Kuminga is still experiencing significant discomfort.

“He said he’s not moving that well, so I can’t tell you what the outlook is,” Kerr told reporters after Sunday’s practice. “He needs to feel better and be able to move better before we can put him out there.”

Veteran center Al Horford remains sidelined for at least a week with irritation of the sciatic nerve on his right side. Horford exited Friday’s contest in the third quarter after logging 18 minutes. The initial diagnosis was right hamstring tightness, later updated to the sciatic issue. He will miss upcoming games against the Jazz, Trail Blazers and Pelicans.

Monday’s meeting with Utah will be the Warriors’ second of four straight contests at home.
