PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia 76ers expect forward Kelly Oubre Jr. to miss a minimum of two weeks after an MRI confirmed a sprained lateral collateral ligament in his left knee, the team announced Wednesday before its home game against the Toronto Raptors.

The injury will be reevaluated in two weeks. Oubre, 29, exited last Friday’s road win in Detroit after hyperextending the same knee.

The 11-year veteran had started Philadelphia’s first 12 games, averaging 16.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 34.8 minutes per contest. This is his third season with the 76ers after previous stints with the Washington Wizards, Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors and Charlotte Hornets.

Philadelphia faced Toronto without Joel Embiid and Paul George, who are both managing knee issues. George made his season debut Monday, while Embiid has missed the past four games.
