Social media personality and WWE performer Logan Paul has withdrawn his lawsuit against Heritage Auctions, ending a weeks-long dispute over the authenticity of a Michael Jordan–autographed section of the Chicago Bulls’ United Center court.

According to documents filed in a Texas district court, Paul on Nov. 19 “dismissed without prejudice” his request for an injunction and temporary restraining order that had halted payment on the item. The move coincided with the expiration of a temporary restraining order that had been granted and later extended.

Paul won the 8-by-8-foot floor piece at auction for $562,555.42, with payment due Sept. 25. Court filings show he sought additional time to verify its authenticity and argued he was not given that opportunity.

Heritage had promoted the hardwood as “the ultimate Michael Jordan display piece,” describing it as a “1994-1998 United Center Original Game Used Court.” Jordan’s signature appears alongside references to his five NBA MVP awards, six Finals MVP awards, 10 scoring titles and 2009 Hall of Fame induction.

In his injunction request, Paul contended that the panel’s condition did not match photographs of the Bulls’ court from the 1995-98 seasons, suggesting the section had either been replaced or, as Heritage stated, repainted and resurfaced. He also cited a certification by grading firm PSA noting that the Bulls logo differed from images taken during the 2001-05 seasons.

Multiple efforts to reach Paul’s representatives were not returned, and court records do not specify why the case was dropped. A Heritage Auctions spokesperson declined to discuss the dispute and said the future of the floor segment “is confidential and subject to contract.”
