Warriors

Golden State has exercised the fourth-year option on guard Brandin Podziemski’s rookie contract, guaranteeing $5.68 million for the 2026-27 season. The decision, finalized ahead of Friday’s league deadline, keeps the 22-year-old under team control through 2027.

Selected 19th overall in the 2023 draft, Podziemski averaged 11.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists as a rookie. He has opened this season with 12.2 points per game and is shooting 42.3 percent from three in his first five outings. He was the only Warrior with a rookie-scale option due this cycle; front-office decisions on Draymond Green, Al Horford, DeAnthony Melton, Jonathan Kuminga and Trayce Jackson-Davis are expected next summer.

Knicks

Center Mitchell Robinson completed a full practice Thursday and will be a game-time decision for Friday’s road matchup in Chicago, according to The New York Post. Robinson has missed New York’s first four games while the club managed his left ankle, a precaution the team says is unrelated to any new injury.

The 26-year-old underwent ankle surgery last season, sidelining him for much of the first half before he returned in late February and became a key contributor in the playoffs.

Jazz

Utah has picked up 2026-27 rookie options on Taylor Hendricks, Keyonte George, Cody Williams, Brice Sensabaugh and Isaiah Collier. George has led the group early, averaging 22.3 points and 9.3 assists through four games, while Hendricks is easing back into the rotation after last year’s leg injury.

The Salt Lake Tribune reported there was brief internal debate about exercising Williams’s option following an inconsistent rookie campaign, but the Jazz chose to keep the No. 10 overall pick in their long-term plans.
