Shaquille O’Neal Unveils Sneaker-Shaped Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies

Los Angeles, CA — Basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal and The Hershey Company have rolled out a new twist on their candy collaboration: sneaker-shaped Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies, now available at retailers nationwide.
O’Neal, who introduced the Shaq-A-Licious brand earlier this year, said the latest launch reflects his long-standing passion for both footwear and flavor. “Shaq-A-Licious started with a big idea — make candy that’s bold, fun, and full of flavor. Now we’re stepping it up with sneaker-shaped gummies and three wild new flavors for gummy lovers everywhere,” he said in a statement.
The new gummies pay homage to the former Los Angeles Lakers center’s SHAQ Footwear line. Each piece is molded in the shape of one of his signature sneakers and offered in three colors and flavors: mango (orange), lime (green), and strawberry (red).
Since debuting in 2024, the Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies line has sold more than 11 million units, making it Hershey’s top sweets launch of the year. Vivek Mehrotra, senior brand manager for Shaq-A-Licious at The Hershey Company, said the sneaker edition builds on that momentum. “The response to our first launch was huge, and the new sneaker-shaped gummies are our way of keeping that energy going,” Mehrotra noted. “This is about more than flavor; it’s about building something fun, lasting and larger than life.”
The sneaker shapes join an existing roster that includes face-shaped gummies in peach, berry punch, and orange flavors, as well as sour varieties molded after O’Neal’s legendary nicknames in pineapple, mixed berry, and watermelon.
