The Los Angeles Lakers snapped a three-game post-All-Star-break skid by overpowering the shorthanded Golden State Warriors, 129-101, on Saturday night at Chase Center in San Francisco.

Golden State played without injured guard Stephen Curry, and Los Angeles took advantage early. Marcus Smart and LeBron James opened the contest with three-pointers, and Austin Reaves converted a driving layup to establish a 10-2 cushion. The Lakers hit five shots from beyond the arc in the first quarter and led 33-20 after 12 minutes.

The margin ballooned to 20 early in the second period while Luka Doncic sat on the bench. Upon returning, the All-Star guard added a layup and assisted James, but the Warriors briefly closed the gap with a 13-2 run. Los Angeles regrouped and entered halftime ahead 65-47.

Doncic erupted in the third quarter, draining four three-pointers during the opening minutes. Reaves followed with another triple, and Jake LaRavia finished a fast-break layup to push the advantage to 99-72 heading to the fourth.

With the lead topping 30 early in the final frame, head coach Darvin Ham rested his starters. No Laker logged more than 30 minutes.
