Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic said his strained left hamstring “felt good” after logging five minutes for Team World in the opening contest of the 75th NBA All-Star Game on Feb. 15, 2026, at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
The 27-year-old had sat out the Lakers’ four games leading into the break while rehabbing the injury. Medical staff cleared him for Sunday’s exhibition with the understanding he would play only a brief stint. Doncic finished with two points and two assists and exited without any visible discomfort.
“Obviously, I wanted to go out there,” he told reporters postgame. “The fans voted me to be in this game, so I wanted to be there and be part of it a little bit. But [the hamstring] felt good.”
Because the showcase was held in the Los Angeles area, the arena was filled with Lakers supporters eager to see the four-time MVP candidate make his first All-Star appearance as a member of the franchise, despite it taking place on the Clippers’ home court.
Doncic did not commit when asked if he will play Friday night, Feb. 20, when the Lakers resume regular-season action against the Clippers. “We’ll see,” he replied.
