DAZN’s Team Whistle and meal-delivery company Factor have released a new installment of the documentary series No Days Off, spotlighting Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves and his daily training regimen.
The episode follows Reaves through a full day of workouts, recovery sessions and nutrition planning. Cameras capture early-morning gym work, strength training and post-practice recovery, underscoring the increased physical preparation that has helped the undrafted guard evolve into a primary playmaker over his five NBA seasons.
Fueling the grind
Throughout the segment, Reaves relies on Factor’s chef-crafted, dietitian-approved meals to maintain energy and speed recovery. “By embedding Factor into athletes’ real routines, we’re showing fans that the same fuel used by elite performers is accessible, practical, and built for everyday life,” Team Whistle president Joe Caporoso said.
Christopher Stadler, chief marketing officer at Factor, added, “At Factor, we believe peak performance is built on everyday choices, and No Days Off captures the discipline and consistency it takes to compete at the highest level.”
Path from undrafted to All-Star candidate
Reaves signed with Los Angeles as an undrafted free agent in 2021 and has since transformed from a dependable reserve into a key offensive option. The 6-foot-5 guard has prioritized added strength to finish through contact, reflected in a steady rise in free-throw attempts.
The 25-year-old, shown warming up on Feb. 9, 2026 against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Crypto.com Arena, reiterated in the video that he hopes to spend his entire career with the Lakers. He will enter unrestricted free agency this offseason.
Guidance from veterans
Reaves credited former Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo as the first veteran to mentor him upon joining the team, a relationship he says accelerated his adjustment to the NBA.
The No Days Off episode featuring Austin Reaves is now streaming on Team Whistle platforms.
