Los Angeles, CA — With the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend set to arrive in Southern California, the Los Angeles Lakers have debuted a 60-second short film titled “Iconic Los Angeles.”

The video, released this week, serves as a welcome to fans traveling to the city for All-Star festivities. Although the events will be officially hosted by the L.A. Clippers at the Intuit Dome, the Lakers’ production highlights the franchise’s longstanding bond with Los Angeles.

“Iconic Los Angeles” features current stars Luka Doncic and LeBron James alongside legends Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal. Shot across recognizable streets and neighborhoods, the film showcases the team’s purple-and-gold culture, energy and style that have been synonymous with the city since the Lakers moved west in 1960.

All-Star Weekend will draw the basketball world to Los Angeles, and the organization’s latest project positions Lakers history and fan passion at the center of the celebration.
