LJUBLJANA, Slovenia — The Slovenian Basketball Federation confirmed Monday that Luka Doncic will suit up for Tuesday’s exhibition game against Great Britain at Arena Stožice. Tip-off is set for 8:00 p.m. local time (11:00 a.m. PT).

The announcement ends concerns about the Los Angeles Lakers guard after he left a recent EuroBasket tune-up with a knee contusion. Team doctors evaluated Doncic during Monday’s practice and cleared him for the contest, which comes nine days before EuroBasket officially begins.

Great Britain’s roster features no NBA players, but the matchup offers Slovenia one more opportunity to prepare with its captain back on the floor. Tickets for the game remain available through the federation’s website and Petrol outlets, according to the federation’s statement.

Off-Court Notes

Doncic, a five-time All-Star and All-NBA First Team selection, is currently on a Jordan Brand promotional tour. During a stop in New York, he attended a Yankees game, met outfielder Aaron Judge and joined broadcasters Michael Kay and David Cone in the YES Network booth. Asked about meeting Michael Jordan, Doncic said the six-time NBA champion was “just a normal guy.”
