Los Angeles Dodgers To Distribute Shaquille O’Neal Bobblehead on June 20

The Los Angeles Dodgers will honor former Los Angeles Lakers center Shaquille O’Neal with a bobblehead giveaway on June 20, 2026, when the club hosts the Baltimore Orioles at Dodger Stadium.
O’Neal’s collectible is part of the team’s 21 scheduled bobblehead nights for the 2026 season. He is one of only three figures without a direct Dodgers connection to receive the promotion so far. The others are rapper and actor Ice Cube, whose bobblehead is slated for March 12 against the San Francisco Giants, and LAFC forward Son Heung-min, set for July 11 versus the Arizona Diamondbacks.
This marks O’Neal’s second bobblehead release of the year. Merchandise company FOCO recently issued a figurine commemorating the three NBA Finals MVP awards he captured with the Lakers. FOCO also unveiled bobbleheads featuring current Lakers stars Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves.
The Dodgers continue to recognize local sports icons while pursuing their own historic run. The franchise is seeking a third consecutive World Series title after bolstering its roster in free agency with closer Edwin Díaz and outfielder Kyle Tucker.
O’Neal, the cornerstone of the Lakers’ 2000–2002 championship three-peat, finished his NBA career with 28,596 points. He recently slipped to 10th place on the league’s all-time scoring list when Cleveland Cavaliers guard James Harden surpassed him, an achievement Harden described as an honor.
