Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic is expected to take the floor during Sunday’s 2026 NBA All-Star Game at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, but only for a brief stretch, league sources told reporter Marc Stein.

Doncic, the league’s top overall vote-getter, has missed four straight games with a hamstring strain. He skipped Wednesday’s 124-104 victory over the Dallas Mavericks yet went through an extended pregame workout in Brooklyn, signaling progress in his recovery. Head coach JJ Redick said earlier in the week that the guard should be “good to go” once the team returns from the All-Star break.

The Lakers have handled the soft-tissue injury cautiously and are not expected to jeopardize Doncic’s availability for the final portion of the regular season. Stein reported that both the team and player agreed to limit his minutes Sunday.
