Luka Doncic delivered another historic performance on March 19, scoring 60 points to lift the Los Angeles Lakers to a 134-126 victory over the Miami Heat at Kaseya Center. The outburst marked the Lakers’ eighth consecutive win and the third 60-point game of Doncic’s career.
After the final buzzer, Heat center Bam Adebayo—who stunned the league with an 83-point game just over a week earlier—commended Doncic’s shooting display.
“He hit some tough shots out there,” Adebayo told ESPN. “I know what it’s like to be in that mode. As people can see, it’s not easy to get 80. But he made some tough shots. You tip your hat off and keep pushing.”
