The Golden State Warriors have reached an agreement to sign rookie forward Alex Toohey to a two-way contract, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Sunday night.
Toohey, a 6’7” Australian, spent the past two seasons with the Sydney Kings before entering the 2025 NBA Draft. During the 2024-25 campaign, he averaged 10.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals across 23.0 minutes per game.
The No. 52 overall selection in June, Toohey also appeared in six Summer League contests for Golden State, posting 6.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per outing.
His deal finalizes the immediate plans for every member of the 2025 draft class. Earlier in the day, fellow draftee Will Richard signed a four-year contract with the Warriors.
Golden State previously filled one of its two-way slots with Jackson Rowe and has extended a qualifying offer to Taran Armstrong. The team continues to navigate contract talks with restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga while rounding out its roster.
