The Golden State Warriors have reached a multiyear agreement with veteran center Al Horford, agent Jason Glushon told ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The deal comes one day before the Warriors open training camp. Horford, 38, joins Golden State after spending seven of the last nine seasons with the Boston Celtics, where he contributed to the franchise’s 2024 NBA championship run.
Entering his 19th NBA season, Horford is expected to start at center for a lineup anchored by Stephen Curry and Draymond Green. The five-time All-Star brings extensive playoff experience, defensive versatility, and veteran leadership to a roster looking for another title push.
Contract terms were not disclosed.
