Dallas Mavericks center Daniel Gafford has attracted trade interest from the Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, Indiana Pacers and Toronto Raptors, according to Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.
League executives reportedly view the 27-year-old as Dallas’ most movable asset despite the extension he signed during the offseason. Gafford is averaging 8.2 points and 6.0 rebounds while shooting better than 60 percent from the field.
While multiple teams have expressed interest, the level of pursuit remains uncertain. Any decision could hinge on whether the Mavericks, currently sitting outside the early Western Conference playoff picture, decide that roster flexibility outweighs keeping the veteran big man.
