The Golden State Warriors will be without three key front-court pieces when they face the Utah Jazz on Monday. Forward Draymond Green has been downgraded from questionable to out because of a right foot sprain, joining center Al Horford (right sciatic nerve irritation) and forward Jonathan Kuminga (bilateral knee tendonitis) on the sideline. Horford is expected to miss at least a week, while Monday will mark Kuminga’s sixth straight absence.

Head coach Steve Kerr said images of Kuminga’s knees showed no structural damage, but the forward has yet to move well enough to practice. Golden State had hoped Kuminga could participate in Sunday’s workout, but he was held out.

Mavericks’ Davis Closing In on Return

Anthony Davis will sit out a 14th consecutive game for the Dallas Mavericks on Monday because of a left calf strain. Head coach Jason Kidd told reporters the plan is for the All-Star big man to take part in Wednesday’s practice. If Davis completes that session without a setback, his return is expected soon after.

Raptors Encouraged by Barrett’s Tests

Imaging on RJ Barrett’s sprained right knee was encouraging, according to Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajaković. Barrett will miss Monday’s matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers but is listed as day-to-day.

Sixers, Bulls Provide Timelines

The Philadelphia 76ers will be without rookie VJ Edgecombe (left calf tightness) for a second straight game Tuesday against Orlando, while center Joel Embiid (right knee injury management) has been upgraded to questionable.

The Chicago Bulls hope forward Zach Collins, recovering from left wrist surgery, can resume full-contact practice this week. A return is possible during the club’s post-Thanksgiving road trip that runs Friday through next Monday.

Pacers Guards Nearing Comebacks

Indiana Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said guards Johnny Furphy (left ankle sprain) and Quenton Jackson (right hamstring strain) could be back within the next couple of weeks. Rookie Kam Jones has recovered from a back injury but will ramp up in the G League with the Noblesville Boom before making his NBA debut.
