The Portland Trail Blazers have signed rookie forward Andrew Carr to an Exhibit 10 contract, the club announced in a press release on Monday.

Although financial terms were not disclosed, reports from June indicated the agreement is a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 deal. The 6’9″ forward is expected to be waived before the regular season and then join the Rip City Remix, Portland’s NBA G League affiliate. If he remains with the Remix for at least 60 days, he can earn a bonus of up to $85,300.

Carr played five collegiate seasons: two at Delaware, two at Wake Forest, and a super-senior year at Kentucky in 2024-25. With the Wildcats, he started 29 of 35 games and averaged 10.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 24.0 minutes, shooting .544 from the field, .324 from three-point range, and .748 at the free-throw line.

The newcomer also appeared in five games for Portland’s Summer League squad in Las Vegas this July, contributing 3.0 points and 2.6 rebounds in 12.2 minutes per contest while shooting .375/.143/.500.

Portland had one open slot on its 21-man preseason roster, so no corresponding move was required. With Carr’s addition, the roster is full.
