Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young will have an MRI on Thursday to evaluate the severity of a right knee sprain suffered Wednesday night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Young exited the matchup against the Brooklyn Nets in the first quarter after landing awkwardly, according to multiple league sources. Bleacher Report insider Chris Haynes reported the scheduled imaging exam shortly after the incident.
The Hawks have not yet provided a timetable for Young’s return. Additional updates are expected once the MRI results are available.
