The NBA has postponed Saturday’s game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Golden State Warriors in Minneapolis, moving it to Sunday at 4:30 p.m. CT, the league announced on social media.
League officials said the change was made to “prioritize the safety and security of the Minneapolis community.” Both clubs are still scheduled to meet again on Monday, creating a back-to-back set for the two Western Conference teams.
The decision follows an incident earlier Saturday in which a man was fatally shot by federal agents in Minneapolis, according to local authorities.
