The Minnesota Timberwolves plan to sign free-agent guard Zyon Pullin to a two-way contract, according to league sources cited by Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Pullin has excelled with the Timberwolves’ G League affiliate in Iowa this season. Through 14 games in 2025/26, the 24-year-old is averaging 23.8 points, 5.8 assists and 3.2 rebounds across 35.3 minutes, shooting 55.7% from the field, 44.8% from three-point range and 84.1% at the free-throw line.

The California native spent four seasons at UC Riverside (2019-23) before transferring to Florida for his super-senior year. He earned All-SEC honors in 2023/24 with the Gators after posting 15.5 points, 4.9 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 0.9 steals per game while shooting 44.4% overall, 44.9% from deep and 84.7% at the stripe.

Undrafted in 2024, Pullin signed a two-way deal with the Miami Heat but was waived within a month. He began 2024/25 in the G League with Miami’s affiliate and finished that campaign on a two-way contract with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Minnesota brought Pullin to training camp on an Exhibit 10 agreement in September, then waived him before the regular season. A roster spot opened Saturday when the Timberwolves released Jules Bernard, so no additional move is required to finalize Pullin’s signing.

Under two-way rules, Pullin can be active for up to 12 of Minnesota’s remaining 22 regular-season games.
