The Minnesota Timberwolves have added guard CJ Fulton on an Exhibit 10 agreement, according to a post from Spotrac contributor Keith Smith on X.
Fulton, a Belfast, Northern Ireland native, spent four collegiate seasons in the United States—two at Lafayette followed by two at Charleston. As a senior with the Cougars, the 6-foot-2 guard averaged 7.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 6.5 assists. Over 127 NCAA games, he shot 42.7 percent from the field and 37.1 percent from beyond the arc.
The 23-year-old appeared in two contests for Minnesota’s Summer League team earlier this year. His signing brings the Timberwolves’ training-camp roster to 19 players, leaving two open spots under the league’s 21-player limit.
Fulton is expected to land with the Iowa Wolves, Minnesota’s G League affiliate. Should he be waived and remain with Iowa for at least 60 days, he would be eligible for a bonus of up to $85,300.
