Thunder’s Jalen Williams Suffers New Setback With Right Hamstring

Oklahoma City guard Jalen Williams has re-aggravated the right hamstring strain that sidelined him for 10 games earlier this season, the team said Wednesday. He will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break.

The Thunder’s second-leading scorer had returned Monday against the Lakers, posting 23 points in 24 minutes. Two nights later he delivered 28 points, five assists and four rebounds in just 20 minutes as Oklahoma City routed Phoenix, but the hamstring tightened up again after the game.

Williams, a 2025 All-Star and All-NBA Third Team selection, has appeared in only 26 contests this season. He is averaging 17.5 points, 5.4 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals while logging 29 minutes per game.

Oklahoma City enters the All-Star break without a timeline for Williams’ full return. Further updates are expected once team doctors complete their post-break evaluation.
