The Oklahoma City Thunder have parted ways with guard Jazian Gortman, the club confirmed Sunday morning.

The 22-year-old signed a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 agreement with Oklahoma City last month. Over four preseason appearances he averaged 9.8 points, 2.0 assists, 1.8 rebounds and played 16.2 minutes per game.

Because his Exhibit 10 deal was terminated, Gortman is eligible to earn a bonus of up to $85,300 if he spends at least 60 days with the Thunder’s G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue.

Gortman went undrafted out of Overtime Elite in 2023 and spent his rookie season in the NBA G League with the Wisconsin Herd and Rip City Remix. He joined the Dallas Mavericks in the summer of 2024, converting an Exhibit 10 contract into a two-way deal after an impressive training camp. He logged 16 brief NBA appearances for Dallas—totaling 53 minutes—before being waived in late January. With the Texas Legends last season, the 6’2″ guard averaged 20.0 points, 6.5 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 steals across 34 games while shooting .450/.272/.813.

Oklahoma City now has 20 players under contract, one short of the league’s offseason limit.
