The Oklahoma City Thunder finalized several roster moves on October 18 2025, elevating guard Chris Youngblood to a two-way contract and waiving forwards Zack Austin, Malevy Leons and Dariq Whitehead.
Youngblood, 23, initially signed an Exhibit 10 deal after going undrafted out of Alabama in June. The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 10.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in 25.3 minutes over 28 college games last season, shooting 44.7 percent from the field, 38.8 percent from three and 80.4 percent at the foul line.
His preseason performance earned the promotion. In three exhibitions with Oklahoma City, Youngblood contributed 11.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals across 19.3 minutes a night, while hitting 44.4 percent of his long-range attempts.
Austin, Leons and Whitehead had also joined the Thunder on Exhibit 10 contracts. All three are expected to report to the organization’s G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue, where each can collect an $85,300 bonus by remaining at least 60 days.
Following the transactions, the Thunder hold 15 fully guaranteed standard contracts and three two-way slots, setting the roster ahead of opening night.
