After sitting out Phoenix’s game in Brooklyn on Monday, Suns guard Jalen Green is expected to take the court Tuesday night in Philadelphia, head coach Jordan Ott told reporters.

Ott said Green cleared every benchmark during a Saturday 5-on-5 workout and showed no ill effects when he woke up Sunday, prompting the club to target the second leg of the back-to-back for his return. The coach added that the 23-year-old will immediately rejoin the starting lineup, barring any late setback.

Green has been sidelined since Nov. 8 with a right hamstring strain. The injury first surfaced in training camp and was aggravated twice—once during the ramp-up phase in mid-October and again seven minutes into his second appearance of the regular season. He has logged only two games this year, highlighted by a 29-point, 23-minute outing in his Nov. 6 debut.

Ott emphasized the organization’s cautious approach, noting Green’s durability over the previous two seasons, when he played in all 82 regular-season games. “He’s a young player with a long career ahead, so we wanted to make sure every rehab metric was met,” the coach said.
